Easy to reach, just 15 km from Lake Garda, Lake Ledro is also very convenient, with four public and equipped beaches offering maximum comfort. One of these beaches is also pet friendly, so you can bring your dog with you in peace.
On the north-western shore of the lake is the beach of Pieve di Ledro. Easy to reach from the town centre and with a large car park, this public beach is a favourite with families with children, thanks to its large green lawn and sandy beach that gradually slopes down to the lake, as well as the many facilities available. The Pieve di Ledro beach offers a supermarket, restaurants, bars, ice-cream parlours and toilets. There is also a beach volleyball court, tennis courts, pedalo hire, a playground and a miniature golf course.
Mezzolago, on the northern shore, has another public beach, featuring a large lawn with picnic tables and a floating pier. A playground is available for children, while adults can hire boats and pedalos.
In Molina di Ledro there is the Besta beach, the largest of the four and also the sunniest during the day. Here, too, there is no shortage of services and many different activities. You can lie in the sun on the large, well-kept green lawn or on the pebbles near the water, eat at the bar and restaurant, use the toilets and discover the water sports on Lake Ledro. There are, in fact, beach volleyball and tennis courts in dedicated areas and canoe, kayak, sup and pedalo hire services, also with the presence of instructors. There is ample parking. The proximity to Molina di Ledro invites you to visit the beautiful Pile Dwelling Museum.
The record for tranquillity goes to the public beach of Pur on the southern shore of Lake Ledro. Ideal for those who love contact with nature, it offers a large lawn with children’s playground, free parking, bar and pizzeria nearby. In an area enclosed by the Pur beach is also suitable for dogs, making it a pet-friendly beach!
